Abstract
An object of the present invention is to provide a porous silica powder suitable for, for example, a gas chromatography support, and the porous silica powder has an average pore diameter of 0.5 to 10 μm as determined by a mercury intrusion method, a volume of pores having a 100 nm or smaller pore diameter of 0.2 cm/g or less as determined by a nitrogen gas adsorption method, a specific surface area of 0.5 to 100 m/g as determined by a nitrogen gas adsorption method, and a particle size distribution of 10 to 1000 μm.
