Abstract

Ridge portionsare provided to be continuously present in orthogonally intersecting directions by forming plural recessed holesin the upper surface of an under-thighs portionand an under-buttocks portionof a seat padfor a vehicle. The height of each ridge portion, i.e. the depth h of each recessed hole, is preferably in the range of 2 to 40 mm, more preferably in the range of 5 to 20 mm, the width w of each recessed holeis preferably in the range of 10 to 30 mm, more preferably in the range of 20 to 30 mm, and the area of an opening of each recessed holeis preferably in the range of 50 to 1000 mm, more preferably in the range of 100 to 900 mm. Accordingly, the present invention can provide a seat pad, which is excellent in soft sensation of touch of a surface thereof, satisfactory in the properties of supporting an occupant, and can be produced by integral foam molding.
