Abstract

The present invention discloses the use of a ginseng and tuber fleeceflower root complex polysaccharide in the preparation of health-care food having anti-aging efficacies, the complex polysaccharide is ginseng and tuber fleeceflower root complex polysaccharide, with ginseng and/or tuber fleeceflower root as raw material, the complex polysaccharide is obtained by water extraction, concentration and alcohol precipitation processes. The complex polysaccharide in the present invention, as proved bymodel experiment, is able to prolong the average life span of wild-type, oxidation stress model and protein aggregation toxin model effectively, the effect pathway is closely related to improving anti-oxidation ability in, inhibiting toxic aggregation protein stress, enhancing the activity of heat-block protein and regulating the crucial node of insulin signalling pathway, which demonstrates that it has good effect of delaying aging and preventing aging-related diseases.
