Abstract

A current collecting structure for which the installation space for current collecting plates is not increased more than necessary even if the number of electrodes to be stacked is increased to increase the capacity of a secondary battery is provided. Positive current collecting platestoconstituting a positive current collecting plate stacking portionare bent at bent portionstoto constitute fixed portionstoand welded portionsto, respectively. The angles of the bent portionstoare 80°, 90°, 100°, 110°, and 120°, respectively. The angles of the bent portionstoare 120°, 110°, 100°, 90°, and 80°, respectively. Negative current collecting plates are also bent in the same manner.
