Abstract
The present invention refers to medical devices. Particularly it relates to stent devices and balloon catheter devices. In the most particular aspect of the invention it relates to balloon catheter devices carrying stents () with the medical balloon () comprising an inner layer () having a lower compliance rate and/or burst pressure than the outer layer () and an outer layer () having on the outer surface () a higher adhesion strength than the inner layer (), and its use in a variety of medical procedures to treat medical conditions in animal and human patients.
