Abstract

A guide device () is provided for guiding a wiring harness () through an aperture () in a panel (). The guide device () has a substantially tubular sidewall () with opposite front and rear ends (). Portions of the sidewall () adjacent the front end () are dimensioned to fit in the aperture (). The sidewall () flares out toward the rear end (). A slit () extends from the front end () of the sidewall () to the rear and () thereof. The front end () of the guide device () can be mounted in the aperture () so that the wiring harness () can be guided into the outwardly flared rear end () and through the aperture (). The slit () enables the sidewall () to be biased open at the slit so that the guide device () can be separated from the wiring harness ().
