Abstract

A battery terminal () includes a main body () with upper and lower plates (U,L). The upper plate (U) includes an upper mounting hole (U), and upper plate fastening portions (U,U). The lower plate (L) includes a lower mounting hole (L) and lower plate fastening portions (L,L). A first receiving wall (A) is connected to a first upper plate fastening portion (U) and engages a first lower plate fastening portion (L). A second receiving wall (B) is connected to the second upper plate fastening portion (U) and engages the second lower plate fastening portion (L). A bracket () is mounted on the main body () and has a first pressing portion (A) with a first tapered surface (A) to contact the first receiving wall (A) and a second pressing portion (B) with a second tapered surface (B) to contact the second receiving wall (B).
