Abstract
A toner according to the present invention includes a plurality of toner particles each including a toner core and a shell layer disposed over a surface of the toner core. The shell layer contains a thermosetting resin. A ratio G*/G*of complex modulus G*at 120° C. of a pellet formed using the toner relative to complex modulus G*at 120° C. of the toner is at least 2.0 and no greater than 3.0. The pellet is obtained by forming the toner into a size of 0.5 mm in thickness and 10 mm in diameter under forming conditions of 25° C. and 50 kg·f/cm.
