Provided are compounds and compositions thereof that are useful as antioxidants in personal care formulations. The compounds are of the Formula I: wherein R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, and Rare independently H, C-Calkyl, —OH, C-Calkoxy, —COOH, —COOM, or —OM, where Mis a sodium, potassium, or ammonium ion, provided that at least one of R, R, R, R, or Ris —OH.
