Abstract
An electrostatic latent image developing toner contains toner particles each containing a toner core, and a shell layer dividedly disposed as a plurality of segments on a surface of the toner core. The shell layer contains a hydrophobic thermoplastic resin and a hydrophilic thermosetting resin. A toner core-shell layer interface formation rate is 3.78×10mor more and 7.02×10mor less. A ratio of the hydrophobic thermoplastic resin to the toner core is 0.40% by mass or more and 1.55% by mass or less.
