Abstract

An organic electroluminescent element using a compound represented by the following general formula emits dark blue light and has a small change in the chromaticity during luminance modulation: wherein each of Rto Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; Ato Arepresent CRor N; L and X each independently represent any one of CRR, NR, O, S, and SiRR; and each of Rto Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a substituent.
