Abstract

The invention relates to a magnet retention member () which can be fitted to a wall () of a locking sleeve () for a gear mechanism, a locking sleeve () and a position sensor arrangement () for a gear mechanism. In order to be able to produce the position sensor arrangement () with the magnet retention member () and/or the locking sleeve () in the most cost-effective manner possible, there is provision according to the invention for the magnet retention member () to have a retention slot () for receiving a wall () of the locking sleeve (), which is flanked by retention arms () of the magnet retention member (), the wall () having a securing portion () for the magnet retention member () and the position sensor () having a magnet retention member () according to the invention and/or a locking sleeve () according to the invention.
