Abstract
A device for inoculating fluid conducted through pipes includes a reservoir configured to hold an inoculant. The reservoir includes an outlet through which the inoculant is feedable to at least one of the pipes and an inlet configured to route compressed air into an interior of the reservoir. A capillary can be used to conduct the inoculant during inoculation. A flushing device can be provided to flush the pipes. A shared device for generating and/or storing compressed air can supply compressed air for inoculating the fluid and/or flushing the pipes.
