Abstract

A secondary battery moduleof the present invention stores cell blocksin a module case, and cools battery cellsin the cell blocksby circulating coolant to the inside of the cell blocks by introduction of the coolant into the module case. The secondary battery module has a structure of communicating coolant circulation portsthat open to a case wall sectionof the module caseand coolant circulation portsthat open to the cell blockswith each other by a communication member, and passing wiring through a space regionformed outside the communication memberand between the case wall sectionand the cell blocks. Thus, wiring can be executed without interfering flow of the coolant, and the total secondary battery modulecan be miniaturized.
