Abstract

Evaporator, notably for motor vehicle air-conditioning circuit. According to the invention, the evaporator (), which comprises three layers—upstream (), intermediate () and downstream ()—through which there flows a coolant that enters the evaporator () via the intermediate layer () and leaves the evaporator via the upstream layer () to cool an air flow (A) passing in succession across said upstream (), intermediate () and downstream () layers, comprises means (E) for inducing a pressure drop between the outlet of the intermediate layer () and the inlet of the downstream layer ().
