Abstract
The present invention relates to an automotive vacuum pump. The vacuum pumphas a casingdefining a cavity having an inletand an outlet, wherein the cavity contains a rotorand a vane slidably mounted to the rotor. The rotorextends through a sideof the casingto the exterior thereof and is provided with a coupling arrangementto couple the rotorto a drive member. The vacuum pumpis provided with a lubrication conduitfor the supply of lubricating fluid to the coupling arrangement, the conduitincluding a portionwhich extends through the rotorand the coupling arrangement
