Abstract

The invention relates to a method for controlling a robot system () for minimally invasive surgery, which comprises at least two robots (). According to the invention a port (), which serves to provide access into the body of a patient (), is operated by means of a first robot (), and a surgical instrument (), which is designed to be introduced into the body of the patient () through the port (), is operated by means of a second robot (). The separate operation of the port () and the surgical instrument () makes it possible to guide the port () synchronously to a movement of the surgical instrument (), to damp the movement of the surgical instrument () or to block the movement by fixing the port ().
