Abstract

A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel, a display apparatus and a method for driving the display apparatus capable of providing a LCD panel having good display quality are provided. The liquid crystal display panel comprises: a first substrate () and a second substrate () opposite to each other, a pixel array provided on the first substrate (), and a liquid crystal layer () between the first substrate () and the second substrate (). The liquid crystal display panel further comprising a first common electrode () disposed on a side of the first substrate () close to the liquid crystal layer () and a second common electrode () disposed on a side of the second substrate () close to the liquid crystal layer (). A first pixel electrode () and a second pixel electrode () are disposed on the first substrate (). The second common electrode () has no overlap region directly facing the first pixel electrode () and/or the second pixel electrode ().
