Abstract
Eyeglasses that include a frame and temple members, wherein the temple members are hinged to the frame by a resilient member and hinge structure so that the temple members are preferentially retained in open or closed position. In some embodiments, the resilient member and hinge structure act as a spring to restore temple members that have been over-extended to their preferred open orientation.
