Abstract

For providing one or more application services in a telecommunications network, an application service platform (A) is provided at an access node (OA) of the telecommunications network. Via the access node (OA), a UE () can access the telecommunications network. Further, the UE () may access the telecommunications network via a further access node (B). The application services are accessible to the UE () via the access node (OA) or via the further access node (OB). If the UE () is connected to the telecommunications network via the further access node (B), the AS platform (A) at the access node (A) obtains context data of the UE () from the further access node (B).
