Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for transmitting/receiving contents through a network such as the Internet, and to a transmitter/receiver using same, the transmission method comprising the following steps: converting content stored in a file format into a delivery format; and converting the content transformed into the delivery format using an IP packet, wherein the file format includes an f-type (ftyp) box for storing information on a file type, an mdat box for storing audio or video data, and a moov box for storing information on data stored in the mdat box, and wherein composition information on at least one program that configures the content is included in either the mdat box or the moov box file format.
