Abstract

Various embodiments of the present invention are directed to compounds of the formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, polymorph, prodrug, solvate or clathrate thereof, wherein X, X, X, R, R, R, and n are defined herein. These compounds are useful as inhibitors of HIV-1 protease and, as a result, are useful in the treatment of HIV infection.
