Abstract
A catalytic composition is disclosed, which exhibits an X-ray amorphous oxide, with a spinel formula and highly dispersed crystals of ZnO, CuO, and optionally CeO. The composition is useful in oxidative and adsorptive processes for removing sulfur from gaseous hydrocarbons.
