Abstract

A device and a method for the wireless control of a medical device () by means of a remote control (), in which via at least one first input unit () provided via a touchscreen of the remote control () at least one control information for activating and/or deactivating a control function for controlling the device () is input. At least one release information is input via a second input unit () of the remote control () which is independent of the first input unit (). When the control information is input, the control function is only activated and/or deactivated when the release information is input via the second input unit.
