Abstract
A paint circulating systemand a pressure relief moduleutilised therein are described. The paint circulating systemcomprises a pressurised paint supply pipeline, a tank return pipelineand a pressure relief module. The pressure relief modulecomprises: a first flow chamberthrough which pressurised paint is provided to said supply pipelinea second flow chamberthrough which paint returns to said tank return pipelinean orificeinterconnecting said first and second flow chambers; and a valve memberbiased towards the orifice so as to block said orifice. The valve memberis moveable in response to a pressure in said first flow chamberexceeding a predetermined relief pressure so as to displace said valve memberto open said orifice. This allows paint to flow from said first flow chamberinto said second flow chamber, preventing failure occurring in the paint circulating system
