Abstract

A rotor having permanent magnetsincludes: a laminated core bodyhaving a shaft holein the center thereof and magnet insertion holesaround the shaft holepermanent magnetsdisposed in the respective magnet insertion holesand first and second end face platesdisposed on one axial end and the other axial end of the laminated core bodyrespectively, the first and second end face platesincluding first and second through holesrespectively. The first and second through holeseach overlap a contour of a magnet insertion holeon a radially inner side or a radially outer side in a plan view, and have first and second tapered portionsgradually expanding the diameter toward the magnet insertion holerespectively.
