Abstract
A propeller pump includes a pump housing and a pump core that is arranged in the pump housing and has a propeller, which together delimit a channel, and which are connected by a guide vane. The channel () haws a cross-sectional area (A) at the rear edge () of the guide vane () that is greater than a cross-sectional area (A) at the rear edge () of the blades () of the propeller. The specific rotational speed of the propeller pump is greater than 200 and less than 300.
