A gown () having a body-covering portion () and an outer layer () coupled to the body-covering portion, thereby defining a pocket (), is provided. The outer layer can include a film layer () having a thermally reflective side () disposed facing the body-covering portion. In a patient warming system (), a warming device () can be provided. The warming device can be placed in the pocket to warm a patient.
