Abstract
The present invention relates to a method and a network node for selecting transmission mode to a cell providing Multicasting/Broadcasting Multimedia Service, MBMS, which cell is served by the network node in a MBMS single frequency network and comprising at least one user equipment receiving or requesting MBMS data. The network node obtains () a first parameter related to a quality of the MBMS experienced by the at least one user equipment and compares Based the first parameter with a predefined first threshold value. Based on the result of comparison the network node selects () a transmission mode to the cell.
