Abstract
A sodium secondary battery includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a non-aqueous electrolytic solution including a non-aqueous solvent. The non-aqueous solvent includes a fluoro group-containing chain carboxylic acid ester represented by General Formula (1): wherein Ris an aromatic group, an unsaturated aliphatic group or a saturated aliphatic group; R, Rand Rare each a hydrogen atom, an aromatic group, an unsaturated aliphatic group or a saturated aliphatic group; and at least one of R, R, Rand Rincludes one or more fluoro groups.
