A standard bearing unit () for different exhaust-gas turbocharger designs (), having a shaft (); having a shaft nut (); having sealing devices (); having a compressor wheel () which is arranged on a first end () of the shaft (); and having a turbine wheel () which is arranged on a second end () of the shaft (), wherein the shaft () is mounted in a standardized bearing sleeve () which has predefined, unchangeable outer dimensions () which are independent of the exhaust-gas turbocharger embodiment.
