Abstract

The present invention provides a device for removing solids from a gas stream. The device comprises a longitudinal hollow element () comprising an inlet (), a first outlet () and second outlet (), and an internal rotation-generating element () for the gas stream, and the rotation-generating element (), which causes the gas stream to rotate around a centerline (Y) of the hollow element (), is arranged between the first outlet () and the second outlet () in the longitudinal direction of the hollow element (), and comprises a central axial passage (), said passage is fluidly connected to the first outlet () by an extraction line (), said first outlet () arranged between the inlet () and the rotation-generating element () in the longitudinal direction of the hollow element, wherein a section () of the hollow element is arranged between the second outlet () and the rotation-generating element and has a decreasing inner circumference in the longitudinal direction of the hollow element () towards the second outlet.
