Abstract
In an image forming apparatus of a tandem type including an intermediate conveying apparatus which conveys a sheet conveyed from a first image forming apparatus to a second image forming apparatus using a sheet conveying member, there are provided with a detecting portion configured to detect a state of the sheet conveying member, and an adjusting portion configured to adjust the state of the sheet conveying member so that the amount of heat radiation from the sheet in the sheet conveying member becomes constant, according to a detection result of the detecting portion.
