Abstract
The invention relates to a diagnostic apparatusfor detecting delamination in the thickness of a panel of laminated composite. The diagnostic apparatus can be used to inspect a panel having a non-constant thickness along its length. The diagnostic apparatus comprises an ultrasonic probeintended to be brought into contact with the front face of the panel to be inspected, an electronic devicefor controlling the emission and reception of ultrasonic pulsesby the ultrasonic probe, and a display devicehaving, notably, indicators showing the presence or absence of delamination in the panel.
