Abstract
The disclosure provides a method and system of resource reconfiguration for a cognitive-radio system. The method includes that: a reconfiguration module of a wireless communication system acquires a reconfiguration command according to a received spectrum refarming indication or by monitoring a network condition of the wireless communication system (); and sends the reconfiguration command to a base station to implement resource reconfiguration by executing the reconfiguration command via the base station (). With the disclosure, proper radio resource reconfiguration is performed by a reconfiguration module of each wireless communication system according to utilization of spectral resources in the system, so that the utilization of spectral resources in a primary system and between RATs may be coordinated, thereby enhancing the resource utilization rate of each wireless communication system and the spectrum utilization rate of the primary system, such as a broadcast and television system, and leading to a more balanced network load.
