Abstract
An open-pore catalyst support comprising a material that comprises a natural sheet silicate and ZrO. In order to provide a catalyst support, by means of which alkenyl acetate catalysts can be prepared which are characterized by a high level of alkenyl acetate activity over a relatively long period, the catalyst support comprises a material that comprises a natural sheet silicate and ZrOin the tetragonal modification.
