Abstract
The present invention aims to provide an anode active material which may intend to improve safety of a battery. The object is attained by providing an anode active material being used for a sodium ion battery or a lithium ion battery, wherein the anode active material has an ANbOphase (A is at least one kind of H, Na and K).
