Abstract
The disclosure relates to a method performed by a communication devicefor uplink transmission. The communication deviceis configured with a primary carrier for uplink data transmission and a dedicated secondary carrier for uplink data transmission to a network nodeA,B,. The method comprises: transmittinga scheduling information report using the primary carrier; receivinga grant to use the dedicated secondary carrier; and transmittinguser data using a data channel on the dedicated secondary carrier upon reception of the grant for the dedicated secondary carrier, wherein the communication deviceis configured such that it does not transmit any data on the dedicated secondary carrier unless receiving a grant for the dedicated secondary carrier. The disclosure also relates to corresponding method in network node, and to a communication device and network node.
