A dielectric composition includes a main ingredient and accessory ingredients. The main ingredient is represented by Ba(TiM)O(0.990<m<1.015, 0.001≦y≦0.010), where M is a transition metal including at least one of a pentavalent transition metal and a trivalent transition metal.
