Abstract

An apparatus and method () for capacitive measurement of electrophysiological signals () suppresses or reduces motion artifacts by providing a feedback mechanism. An average voltage between a capacitive sensor electrode () and the body () is controlled so as to reduce or minimize motion-induced signals.
