Abstract
Disclosed are a negative active material for a rechargeable lithium battery including a silicon-based material including SiOparticles, where 0<x<2, and a Si—Fe—containing alloy positioned on the surface of the SiO(0<x<2) particles, a method of preparing the same, and a negative electrode and a rechargeable lithium battery including the same.
