Abstract

Disclosed herein are compounds containing an optionally substituted (2-phenylpyridinato-N,C)(2,4-pentanedionato)Pt(II). Some embodiments provide a light-emitting device, having an anode layer, a cathode layer, and a light-emitting layer positioned between, and electrically connected to, the anode layer and the cathode layer, wherein the light-emitting layer contains a compound disclosed herein.
