Abstract

A dialysis apparatus has a dialysate circuitwhich is cleaned after dialysis by both opening/closing valves Vand Vbeing closed after a dialysate in the dialysate circuitis replaced with a cleaning liquid. The opening/closing valve Vis opened, and the cleaning liquid is circulated by pumps Pand Pwhile being heated by a heater H, to clean the inside of the dialysate circuit. A deaeration tankis provided downstream of the pump P. Air bubbles generated from the cleaning liquid serving as hot water are deaerated by the deaeration tankand are then discharged into a gas storage tankvia a deaeration passage. The pumps Pand Pcan be reliably prevented from being unable to operate with the air bubbles generated from the cleaning liquid.
