A control valve capable of reducing vibration of a housing member, and a variable-displacement compressor provided with this control valve, are provided. A control valveincludes: a valve unithaving a valve bodyand a movable iron core; a housing memberwhich is formed into a bottomed tubular shape and slidably houses the movable iron core; and a coil unithaving a drive coil portionA housed in a solenoid housingto be disposed around the housing member, and an end portion memberB formed to cover a tube bottom side end portion. The control valve drives and controls the valve unitby an electromagnetic force thereby adjusting an opening degree of the valve body. A first damping memberis disposed between a bottom wallof the housing memberand the end portion memberB.
