Abstract
An unloader ringhas a plurality of unloader fingerspassing through intake channelsof the intake valvearranged in the ring-shaped intake chambersuch that the unloader ringis guided on the wallof the intake chamber, where it is arranged displaceably by means of the circumferential surfaceof the unloader ringon the outside radially or by the circumferential surfaceof the unloader ringon the inside radially. A radial stepis provided on the circumferential surfaceof the unloader ring on the outside radially or on the circumferential surfaceof the unloader ringon the inside radially, and a control chamberis formed between the wallof the intake chamberand the radial step, this control chamber being connected to a control linefor supplying a control medium into the control chamber. A lower stop () for the unloader ring () is provided in the intake chamber (), this stop being designed so that the unloader finger overhang (f) of the unloader ring finger () is smaller than the intake stroke (h) of the intake valve ().
