Abstract
The invention relates to a wave power unit with a floating body (), a submerged station () and flexible connection means () connecting the floating body () to the submerged station (). The submerged station () has a stator() and a moving part (). According to the invention the flexible connection means () is provided with a damper (). The damper () is arranged to absorb tensile forces in the flexible connection means (). The invention also relates to a use of such a wave power unit and to amethod for producing and supplying electric energy.
