A hydraulic camshaft adjuster () including a stator () and a rotor () arranged such that it can rotate relative thereto, the stator () being connected to at least one separate cover () that seals a cavity () located between the rotor () and the stator (). In the region of the cover (), the material of the stator () at least partially encompassing said cover () is formed without machining.
