Abstract

A method for coating workpieces (), preferably in sheet form, which preferably consist at least in certain portions of wood, wood-based materials, plastic or the like, with the following method steps: providing a workpiece () having at least one workpiece surface (), in which the workpiece surface () is improved by applying at least a first curable liquid to the workpiece surface () and at least partially curing the first liquid (); exposing the workpiece () to energy, at least on the workpiece surface () and/or a coating () that is intended to be applied to the workpiece surface (); and applying the coating (), in particular of an edge (), to the liquid-coated workpiece surface () and preferably pressing the edge () onto a liquid-coated workpiece surface ().
