Abstract
The removable device () according to the invention is designed to be connected to an electronic trip unit (). The trip unit () comprises an internal electrical power supply bus () and the device () is adapted to be supplied with electrical energy via the internal electrical power supply bus (). The device () comprises a withdrawal member () for withdrawing electrical energy on the internal electrical power supply bus (). The trip unit () includes a switched-mode power supply () capable of delivering a power supply signal (S). The withdrawal member () comprises detection means for detecting each rising edge of the power supply signal (S), and the electrical energy of the power supply signal (S) is withdrawn as of the detection of a rising edge.
