Abstract
A download security system () includes a server () and an information processing apparatus (). The information processing apparatus () includes a flash memory () for storing data downloaded from the server () and a memory controller (). A transition command for a transition to a writable mode to the flash memory () is transmitted from the server (), and in response to the transition command, a memory controller () makes a transition to the writable mode. The data downloaded from the server () is written to the flash memory () by the memory controller () in the writable mode.
